AE is clearly NOT a Troll
Prove it
bit fed up tbh , the recent lies and slander levelled against me which has remained unanswered has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, plus probably spending a little bit too much time on web forums, see you all in a while.
I hate cutesy names with cutesy, lovey, posts
The persons using that account have been trying to compensate for the previous truculent incarnations.
I have absolutely no idea where my publisher cards are. Nor give a damn really. 20 years ago they were in the White Rock congregation in Dallas. I lost interest after that when my wife started moving around to different congregations.
But I live in Murphy, a little town northeast of Dallas.

Why respond to renaii/angel eyes/god knows what else account?
Clearly this person(s) has issues or is seriously bored.
the jw and the (pseudo?
)scientific "hopes" of individual "everlasting life" (which have been connected on a couple of recent threads) have at least something in common: they all seem to take for granted that death is a bad thing.. as amazing as it may be to you, this amazes me so much that i don't know even where to start.
of course death hurts in reality when you lose people you love, or in imagination when you anticipate your own extinction.
Well like Dumbledore said in the Harry Potter books: "Death is but the next great adventure."
If I'm understanding your point correctly Narkissos, death is a transformation, a combination of new to replace the old.
well, today is another interesting day.
as some of you all know...i have been trying to make my exit out of the cult but my wife has been giving me some probs along the way.
today as usual i dont go to the meeting, i go on with my day as normal, wash clothes, cook breakfast, and so on.
First thing I thought of is they've quit mentioning 1918 and 1919, i.e. the 8 "faithful" Bethel (GB?) members who were sent to the federal penitentiary in Atlanta for being "true to Jehovah". God I had to read about that ad nauseum back in the day.
They also want to skip over 1925.
Move along move along, nothing to see here . . .
can't believe this one.
horrible.

Oh how I wish I hadn't read that. I feel ill.
+1
today i noticed my personal website was hacked again.
over the last year my site has been hacked by several different worms that try to infect your web browser when you view my site.. these hacks are all the result of poor security measures and a gross lack of applying security patches to the hosting server.. today i had enough and emailed my hosting company to let them know that, once again, my site was hacked.
here is the email exchange:.
So www.eastendhosting.com is not only incompetent but they're massively rude. Ever notice the two often go hand in hand? Incompetent people are many times extraordinarily rude as well?
Not to hijack but a quick aside -- I've noticed that whenever the nursing staff or receiptionist is rude or incompetent, so is the doctor. I've never found the reverse to be true.
So Else, say bye bye to www.eastendhosting.com. Don't beg them to take your money!
i've never smoked tobacco or a joint in my life!
i know some regular pot smokers and they're pretty cool people.
they typically say pot is better than alcohol and that it should be completely legal.
I tried it once, didn't feel a thing. I don't see what the big deal is.
Yeah legalize and then tax the hell out of it, that'll help with the budget deficit some. Keep the same DUI laws in place though.
this isn't meant to be insulting, this is stuff i honestly want to know from you guys....
do you call it "fall" rather than "authum" ( spelt that wrong).
"dipers" instead of "nappies"?.
Blondie coveredd it pretty well. The only thing I'd like to add is the U.S. is made up of regions that are very distinct and different. At times, almost different countries. The South has very little in common with the northeastern U.S. Not just accent, but outloook on life, diet, income, schooling and so on. The Midwest has little in common with California, or the Pacific Northwest. Again not just accent but attitudes and values.
The other thing you've got to realize is America started off as the dumping ground for religious, sometimes fanatical, fundamnentalists. That religious strain is still here.
I live in Texas, but did not vote for Bush, nor would I ever. No he's not one of our best Presidents, but then I've always wondered by you folks tossed out Winston Churchill in favour of Clement Atlee while the war was still going on.
